Death Stalks Gilgamesh.

The first point ask how does the dicussion in class about,"catharsis" relate to Gilgamesh gaining knowledge about his mortality. Mortalitly refers to subject of death. Gilgamesh realized he was not imortal making him unsafe and possibly a target just like Enkidu.For he was also involved in the same situation that got Enkidu killed. Gilgamesh is confronted by the king of URK which he states the consequences for his actions, But after this Gilgamesh,"tore at his hair and clothing" inorder to join Enkidu in the underworld.
